Aethtea is the fictional world in which I set all of my fantasy novels and short stories. As with many projects such as this, I do not have a clear, exact view of every single element of this world. In fact, far from it! And that is just the way I like it. It is incredibly exciting for me to have a world that is ever expanding and growing and evolving, almost like I am discovering it rather than creating it.
However, I do have some pretty firm ideas for certain aspects. The progression of time happens in cycles, beginning and ending in the same place each time, while passing through thirteen ages in between. Once time reaches the end of the thirteen age, the world resets itself to begin again. However, each time events are slightly different. In other words, while the general path is the same, there are a few detours. This is an idea that I enjoy, but have not fully explored in any stories yet.
I have drawn many maps and written many descriptions of Aethtea that hopefully I will show to you over time, outside of what is present in my stories. I hope it becomes a world that interests you as much as it does me.
